Very popular

:
This is probably the most popular painting app out there. It's not very versatile and it lacks so many features. Also it needs a manual due to the way the layers are used. I saved up to get this app after seeing the beautiful paintings people have made using this app, now once I have it I wished I saved my money since I own sketchbook and inspire pro and I have made great things using those apps. I wanted to add one more to my toolbag but I doubt I will use this very much.
I really hope that Steve adds to this app since he is making a lot of money off it to make it better. It needs it.

needs dry brush like inspire pro

:
There is something about Brushes that always makes me smile when I'm using it. The app is so fast and beautiful that I thought Apple had made it at first! The playback feature is really nice to prove to your friends that you actually made a painting yourself and there are some cool brushes. I do wish it had some sort of blending or smudging tool though, that would make it a 10 star app. Still worth every penny otherwise, highly recommended.

And people are liking this because?....

:
This app is fine, it's great there's just one no two no...several problems. First off there is NO blend of any kind, none! Secondly, the only mode available is one which ( for my pictures at least) makes my pictures look like their done n insipid water color, this particular reviewer does not particularly like all her artwork in said insipid style. That said it's better, no way better than sketchbook pro. But I still don't use it.
